Recently, Ireland for Christian Civilisation distributed the ‘Way of the Cross’ by Prof. Plinio Correa de Oliveira.
Today we see how the forces of evil wish to remove Catholic influence from society every way possible. Every day we find that Christ is crucified again and again in our laws, in our streets and in our customs.
We must not abandon him!
In this time of lent, Irish Society for Christian Civilisation with the desire to encourage its adherents to meditate on the Passion and Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ distributed a Booklet and CD on the meditations of the Way of the Cross written by Professor Plinio Correa de Oliveira, founder of the first TFP in Brasil in 1960.
Professor de Oliveira beautifully reminds us of how Our Divine Redeemer suffered for us all, and invites us to be more courageous in the defense of His prerogatives so disregarded in our day. Meditating on the Passion and Death of Our Lord, we will see the love He had for us, and thus the more we should have for him.
The CD is beautifully mastered accompanied with a variety of sacred music; hymns of the TFP choir, excerpts from The Lamentations of Jeremiah, sung by the famous monks of Santo Domingo dos Silos, as well as excerpts from Shultz’s Seven Last Words.
