On February 6th, something truly terrible happened. Robbers broke into our Cavan base, stealing and vandalising. Thankfully our statue of Our Lady of Fatima was not harmed.

However, the robbers did smash several doors, stole safes, and broke filing cabinets. My colleague in Cavan immediately had the doors replaced in order to secure the property but we now have another problem…

Our base in Drogheda is also vulnerable to robbery. I need to quickly take measures to ensure that our base in Drogheda is also not robbed or vandalised. Cameras, doors, locks… I have a solid plan to ensure the security of the base.

Your donation will help us get new doors, ornamental but practical rails for the ground floor windows, and a new security camera system.

The doors will be the most expensive. To install two new doors – one for the front and the other for the back – it will cost almost €5,000. Security rails in front of the ground floor windows will cost €200 each. It will cost €600 to install an alarm and security camera.

Disclaimer: We collect donations for our statutory activities. On this page, we are fundraising for new doors, security system and rails in front of the ground floor windows of the ISFCC house in Drogheda. All donations from this page will be going towards purchasing these items. However you donation could also be used for our other statutory purposes if the amount of money collected exceeds the amount we need to purchase the above items. The statutory purposes are:

The advancement of religion including the Catholic religion, and the promotion of traditional Irish Christian religious values in society at large, particularly regarding the sacredness of human life from conception to death, and the benefits of the institutions of marriage and the family, while engaging in the circulation of religious articles and Catholic literature, and in particular promoting the message of Fatima, including through conferences, camps, visits, pilgrimages, cultural exchange programmes, distribution of rosaries and miraculous medals, and public meetings promoting the rosary.
