Rosary Rally in Dublin attracts the Public

By Patric Catrinescu – 13 July 2026

In a world marked by revolutions, it’s hard to remember you’re not alone. Fighting the popular current is not an easy task.

In fact, I would say it’s impossible. As impossible as the Christian victory against the numerous Muslims in Lepanto. Just as impossible as the reconquest of the few hundred faithful Spaniards in the eternal crusade of the Reconquista.

However, just as in the other two cases, on the 11th of July this year, the impossible happened. And that is because, for God, nothing is out of reach.

Firstly, the army: As I mentioned, we are not alone. As Our Lord multiplied bread and fish to feed more than 5,000 men, Our Lady provided us with enough believers to reach the hearts of the people in Dublin.

While praying the Rosary, I noticed more and more people joining in. Whether it was the leaflets being distributed or seeing the Rosary banner, people were drawn to the Rosary Rally. This is the first noticeable result of the campaign.

Of course, there is no crusade without enemies, and the devil and the world made sure to show their ugly faces. From malicious ignorance to curses, there were people opposing us. One person came up, yelled, “Why are you worshipping statues, idolaters!” referring to the statue of Our Lady. He didn’t stay to debate or defend his position, only to disrupt.

Nevertheless, that did not happen, and the only consequence that it provoked was the contrary. Above blasphemies and words of hatred, the rally participants only prayed louder.

Lastly, one of the most impressive developments was the promotion of the Catholic faith. About halfway through the second rosary, a South American, maybe Filipino, woman kissed the statue of Our Lady. This act, already so sweet, was further exalted by the fact that she returned, kissed the feet of Our Lady again, and, this time, came with a friend who showed similar respect.

Hundreds, maybe thousands of stories can be written throughout a rosary rally. Stories of salvation, stories of people mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.

So, for a Catholic Ireland: More campaigns! More rallies!

Deus vult.

This year, it is more crucial than ever that we turn to prayer and intercession to increase devotion to Our Lady across our country. That’s why you’re invited to join us in the Three Hail Marys Pledge, a powerful devotion that can bring personal spiritual benefits and national transformation. By reciting three Hail Marys daily, you honour the Immaculate Heart of Mary and seek her intercession for the conversion of sinners, the salvation of souls and the restoration of Ireland’s Catholic Faith. This ancient devotion, revealed to Saint Mechtilde, promises spiritual benefits including protection from mortal sin and the assurance of a good death. Your daily prayers will contribute to an increase in devotion to Our Lady, the conversion of sinners and the moral renewal of our country. Let us commit to this powerful devotion and seek the guidance and protection of Our Lady.
